Misleading Information on Website & Poor Communication – Disappointed with SA Motor Lease

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at SA Motor Lease. After weeks of preparation, saving, and planning, I visited your dealership today fully ready to proceed with a rent-to-buy vehicle deal. Your website clearly states that a net salary of R15,000 qualifies for the rent-to-own option – this is also what I was verbally told by your sales agent when I called just a day before my visit.

I met all requirements: ✅ Net salary of R15,000 ✅ Initiation fee and down payment in hand ✅ Documentation ready

Yet, after travelling to your dealership, I was told I no longer qualify – because a new policy from just a week ago now requires a net income of R17,000. This new requirement was never communicated, not updated on your website, and not mentioned in the call I had with your team. I find this incredibly unprofessional, misleading, and inconsiderate to potential clients who are relying on your guidance and information.

Your lack of transparency caused me not only financial loss in transport and time but serious emotional disappointment. I have been preparing for this step, and all I asked for was honesty and clarity. I urge SA Motor Lease to honour the criteria advertised at the time of my enquiry and escalate my application for urgent reconsideration.

I still meet the original requirements and would appreciate the opportunity to move forward with this process based on the conditions you yourselves presented
