Bad customer service

I rented a car from pace car rental Marlboro for over a year. My contract was on a month to month basis 'rent to buy'. I had never skipped a payment unless I was experiencing some problems but I would always pay them even if they sometimes received their payment later that specific month. In December I could not honor payment arrangement as I was experiencing financial problems and I then promised that I will make payment in January 2024. On the 15th of January they were expecting payment but I failed because I didn't get enough salary to pay them. On the 16th January, I had to drive to Oliven, Centurion. I'm not fami**** with the place but I also heard that it is dangerous and not safe. On my way back as I was about to join R55 road back to Pretoria, the car stopped in the middle of nowhere. I didn't know anybody there and I was scared. I called Pace rental ( SA MOTOR LEASE) only to find out that they immobilized the car. First of all they didn't check if the was safe where it was, secondly they didn't even care about my safety. I then had to ask three men that I didn't know to push the car off the road so that other cars could pass. I was scared because those guys could have taken advantage of me. I then asked them to push me until the engine garage so that I can wait there until I have sorted the matter out. I waited for more than an hour calling then and sending emails to their Debtor administrator by the name of Ethel but no one responded to me. I even begged them to switch the car on so that I can at least get home and they can come and get their car but they refused. I have never been so scared and humiliated in my whole life. Ethel finally got back to me and told me I can leave the car there, they will come and get it. I'm so angry and frustrated with the way they treated me. I understand I owed them and had to pay but as for them treating me the way they did. I'm really not going to let it go. I'm involving my lawyer as we speak and I'm going to make them pay for compromising my safety.
