BAD BAD SERVICE FROM PACE CAR RENTALS

On the 31st March 2023 I purchased a vehicle as a RENT TO OWN (Renault Stepway Sandero), and paid a deposit however I didn't receive my contract up to date and I have queried this more than 8 times with Thandeka,Banji and Brumilda and nothing has been done

Never the less,my real issue is the car does not lock ever seens i purchased it on the 31st March 2023.

On the 24th April 2023 i was advised to bring in the car in Marlboro so that the key can be fixed or i can be given a spare key that i can use.When i arrived the spare key didn't work either.Mind you i have spend R250 for petrol to come to Marlboro.

On the 2nd May 2023 all my assets in the vehicle were ****** together with my groceries that I have spent R2500.00.

On the 5th May 2023 Ndumiso and Sipho (Maintenance team)advised me to bring the car again to Marlboro; it was still not fixed as they now referred me to Nissan in Woodmead,I have spent R250 again on petrol.

I booked in the car @Nissan Woodmead on the 22nd August 2023 for the keys to be fixed and I put in R200 petrol to go there.The keys worked for a fews days then it started again.

I booked in the car again @Nissan Woodmead and spent another R200 on petrol and I was advised by Stephen that Mam your car needs a new battery that the reason why it doesn't lock.Stephen went ahead and installed a new battery in my car,then it locked for a 1 week then stopped working again.

On top of the locking issue I had, I now started to experience a new issue in December whereby the car does not start at all. I need to kick start it everywhere I go because Stephen decided to become a ****mer and gave me an old battery that's about to die.

Ndumiso referred me again to Stepehn on the 13th Feb 2024,i pour another R200 petrol and went to Woodmead,when i was supposed to collect the car nothing was done on the car and Stephen advised that the issue is now terminals and i told him it has nothing to do with the terminals the issue is the battery that he gave me.He told me to come back again on the 14th Feb 2024 and put in another R200 for petrol.When i went to collect the car @5pm he told me that he cannot change the battery because he was not the one who changed the battery i need to contact Pace Car Rental,Ndumiso still refers me again to Woodmead.Up until now the car doesn't start properly,i need to kick start and it does not lock.

I am tired and i feel mistreated and the sad part is that i i make payments of R5280.Pace car rentals is failing to sort out the issue and i want all my money that i have paid.

I have logged a case with the Motor Industry Ombudsman because i feel like they are taking advantage of me.
