Emergency and Call Centre Numbers not working

21/02/2015. The power went off at 11:14am. Not a scheduled time for loadshedding. I contacted the Rustenburg Local Municipality but the phone rings, the automated system comes on, and when you have to choose a option - customer care / emergency services, the phones goes dead. It is now 15:40pm. Still no answer at the Rustenburg Local Municipality. Still no power. How can we have a all centre, an Emergency contact centre, with no answer. How can the power be off without any word from the Municipality. How are you suppose to get through. Do they only work weekdays 8 - 5? What is the purpose of this. Is there people that are getting paid for working over weekend. Or are we obviously left to tend to ourselves.. Even though we are paying our bills. <br> I have called like 50 times, I have sent emails. And still we are waiting. <br> Outlying area. Dark at night, not power, no alarm system. How safe can that be.
