Poisonous chemicals shipped with foods

I booked a courier service through Rush Courier service and never received the goods/delivery. When I followed up Rush told me that our stuff was couriered together with poisonous chemicals and that the chemicals spilled over our stuff. Rush told me that they won't be able to assist us in this matter as we did not take out insurance on our shipment??? The fact that FOOD was couriered together with poisonous chemicals is a massive no no and totally *********. The fact that Rush does not want to take ownership of the negligence of one of their couriers are insane. I lost R8000 because of this "mistake/negligence" from their side and they just don't care.
