Wouldn’t Know Customer Service if It Hit Them In The Face
I’ve been a client of RSAWeb for over a year now and noticed that they slow my “unthrottled” line down ALL THE TIME. And the free gift I received for signing up with them, stopped working after 6 months, which was the main reason I signed up with them over other companies.
But I’ve been able to overlook that until now. I moved apartments on Feb, I called them to ask if I could transfer my line to my new apartment, they said it wasn’t a problem and all I had to do was take my router with me and my line would be set up once I plugged it in. Cool. January comes to an end and I’m billed for Feb( R655 - my new amount was meant to be R595 but I assumed it was just for this month) I move into my new flat and it takes over two weeks for me to be connected as no one from customer service was getting back to me and could actually talk to me at times when I wasn’t at work. Eventually it works. Then March comes and my debit order comes through for R1107!!!! I was emailed an invoice for March for R595, so why was almost DOUBLE that deducted from my account?? I was then told that because I didn’t give A FULL MONTHS notice I was charged for Feb AND March on my old line and charged pro-rata for the new line I used in Feb. Not once was this process of billing explained to me, it’s as if they’re trying to **** their customers out of money, sure it’s all in the fine print but when I called to cancel in Jan, I asked if I’d be charged a cancellation fee and they said no. And the fact that I was not invoiced for this insane amount has me fuming. What if I couldn’t afford an extra R655 because I hadn’t budgeted for it?!
No apology has been made for this utter disregard for Customer Service. And I will be cancelling my contract with them the minute my contract has expired. I’m sick and tired of being messed around by this company. Would 100% not recommend.
