RSAWEB charging me for a product I did not use yet and told them I'm only going to start using from January.

We were very excited about finally getting fiber. In November Metrolife came to install our box that comes from the road. On the 17th of November I phoned RSAWEB to find out when we can go on to fiber as I need to cancel my current internet so I don't have services that overlap (including costs). I was told by the lady that it would most likely only be end of January or beginning February as Metrolife has not connected the fiber up yet and they close for the festive season. Big was my surprise when I received notices that RSAWEB is coming to install my router beginning of December. On the 6th when they came to install the router I phoned RSAWEB to let them know I still have to cancel my current Internet and that I will only start using their product from the beginning of January. I also got an e-mail from RSAWEB telling me all I have left to do is setup the router and activate the service. I did not set up my router yet nor did I activate anything from my side(still not as I am writing this) as I am waiting for January as I let RSAWEB know. Last week I get a notification from RSAWEB that I owe them R1151. Yesterday morning I phoned RSAWEB and spoke to a Kyle Everts. I explained the situation and I explained that it is urgent as I want to start on the 1st of January as my current Internet ends the night of the 31st. He asked me for the date I phoned them to let them know I will only join from the 1st of January. I send him the info via email and gave it to him over the phone. Today I did not here from him and wrote to him again requesting feed back. I then tried to phone him again. Came out at accounts. The lady then try to put me through to him but cuts me off. Later I phoned again and still no reply. I then send emails to accounts again and to Kyle Everts for feed back as it is critical I sort this out before the weekend. I also told them that if it is not sorted by end of today I don't want their router or service and I will go somewhere else. Late this afternoon I get an email with an invoice and a statement that I owe them R1151. Nothing about my query. I then tried to phone them again about 16h30 this afternoon. I gave up after holding on for more that 24 minutes. I've had enough. I just want out. If this is the service before I have even started to use their product, how is it going to be in a year from now? I just want them to take their un-used router and take me off their books. I will not pay for something I did not use and that I informed you about. If it means I must use my legal aid for it, then that be so. This is nothing but theft, topped up with bad customer service and communication.
