Never use rsaweb they are not efficient

Do not use them. Totally unreliable.

I cancelled my fixed LTE after 6 months last year. This was due to the issues of not having an active status on my profile on the rsaweb app. But in numerous tickets to sort it out. Nobody knew how to do it. I was unable to see what data I was using due to this issue.

I gave them a months notice on 1 July 2024. Sent the router back as instructed on 1 August 2024 and I received confirmation of both the cancellation and the router been returned.

The last payment I made was in June 2024 which covered the month of July. You pay 2 months up front so always a month in advance.

End of February 2025 I received a email claiming I owe 2 months payment a month and the a mo th in advance. I placed a ticket saying it was cancelled and as far as I was aware I did not owe a single amount. 1 March they took off what they claimed which I immediately reversed on my bank app. Again explained it was cancelled and asked them to explain why 8 months later they billed me. Of course no response. Same thing happened in march 2025 with money been taken off in April 2025. I received sms saying due to non payment my service was suspended. Then again you service was cancelled.

I did a live chat and the tech support said there was nothing active on my account when I asked why was it reinstated due to a payment been received that I never made. I asked the same question to the accounts department and told it was a system error. I requested an invoice of any amount that was outstanding. This was sent and was for the router return that I had never received an invoice for.

I had put in a ticket asking for the direct debit to be cancelled by rsaweb and after 5 weeks of asking I finally got an email confirmation. Now I wonder if it actually cancelled.

I then received a email from the debt collection in rsaweb threatening me with legal action if I did not pay the full outstanding amount. I paid the amount according to the invoice I had received from the accounts department for the router return. I sent the invoice to them as well as the proof of payment for July 2024 and the router. Followed it up with an email saying this was according to the accounts department and what was stated on the rsaweb website.

Still waiting for a response to those emails.

The system they have you email an enquiry and get a no reply response put in a ticket etc and you get no further. I even requested the head of the accounts department and a proper email address to respond to but that was a waste of time.

My recommendation find an alternative isp service. They are more out there and hopefully more helpful.

They claim to be the best in South Africa well I am still waiting to see that.
