Lying and false representatives

On the 16th of January a RSA Web representative, Darryn Adams, came to my house claiming that RSA web no longer rents the fibre line from Octotel but now owns the line. He said many people complain about the line speed and rambled on about issues and how i am sharing a line with the neighbors. The more i told him that i have no issues with my line speed just the service the more he went on about the line speed.

He then told me that i could get a 300/100Mb line for the same price as what i am paying now and this would be a continuous thing. I would also get a promotion aspect where i only pay R379 for three months and then pay the standard package. He promised that i would get a call by monday afternoon the 19th of January. Which still has not happened. i told him i am not sure about this and stressed the importance of my line as i work from home. Darryn then told me not to stress because he is a team leader and can resolve this for me.

He then sent me a whatsapp, which i think is very unprofessional with the agreement. I told him, via whatsapp, that i have not had a call and he said i would get one. three days later and i still have not had a call. I sent him the message and he did not greet me professionally by saying morning or anything but was rather hostile towards me now saying he is "just an agent" not a team leader.

I then called into RSA web and a lady with the name of Youmna (unsure of the spelling) mentioned that if i go onto this line it would be considerably more expensive. So Darryn Adams ****. She then advised me that i can speak to retention to confirm if there was a way to get this as i have been with them for well over three years. She would then transfer me and then when they are done i could speak to her again.

Why the back and fourth RSA Web?

I then put the phone down because it was clear that RSA Web representatives lie and no one can assist you in getting something resolved.
