Hidden Fees and No Support When It Matters

This is my second attempt at leaving a review for RSAWEB, as I was unable to post my original review on Google.

After trying to submit my review there, I could no longer access or post from my previous account, so I am sharing my experience here instead.

My experience with RSAWEB has been extremely disappointing. I had to cancel my subscription because I am relocating to an area where they do not offer coverage. Despite this, I was charged close to R3,000 in cancellation fees.

At no point during sign-up were these fees clearly communicated, and I was never provided with a copy of my contract. Based on the terms I have since reviewed, cancellation fees should not exceed R999 — yet I was charged significantly more.

I formally disputed this charge, as is my right, especially given the lack of transparency. Unfortunately, my dispute was ignored, and I was simply issued with an invoice without any proper response or resolution.

The lack of clear communication, transparency, and customer support — especially during cancellation — has been extremely frustrating. I cannot recommend RSAWEB based on this experience.
