Frustrating Experience – Weeks Without Installation

I had a very poor experience with RSAWEB. My fibre installation has been delayed for weeks with constant miscommunication and no clear timeline. I was initially told installation would take about a week, then 1–2 weeks, and now potentially over a month with no confirmed date. This has directly affected my work, as I rely on stable WiFi and have had to spend money on mobile data while waiting. Very disappointing service.

*** is my number. I have been in contact with Thania via the WhatsApp line was well. It is now almost week 4 and she is going to try re-apply for Vuma. If you go back on this case, the application was done with Vuma by Shafiek but we were told afterwards that the premise cannot be created. The order was then placed with OpenServe. Today, Thania tells me she will try to reload the premise for Vuma as it seems the wrong address was selected in the first place. If this installation is not done this week, we want to cancel our order with no costs and a full refund.

Our router and fibre has finally been installed almost after one month of waiting. We were told by the technicians that the service will be activated today. When I followed up with RSA Web, I’m told they need their project team to activate the service. This team is not available to do it now but they can do it after the long weekend. Again, just the worst service!

Great news! Your fibre service has been activated. Please plug the router into the fibre box via LAN cable. The cable must be connected to the WAN port on the router and LAN1 on the Vumatel box.

Best regards,

LR

The cables are connected, however, the service is not activated. We have no network.
