****************
I was debited on the 1st of March for a Vuma fibre reconnection of a line which was installed by the previous tenant in my flat. The amount I was debited was not even what I was quoted. They told me my line had been activated before I had even received my router. I was unable to connect the router. After phoning support (the line is ALWAYS busy and I've wasted so much airtime up to now but if you log a ticket it takes about a week to get any response) a support technician advised me to purchase a power cable 9v or 12v. I could only get a 9v (more outlay) and it didn't work. The technician then contacted VUMA. Their technicians arrived unannounced (luckily I was home) and said the problem was resolved. I tried to connect and it still wasn't working. They said they would come by the next day. They came, left and promised to come back in 20 minutes. They never bothered and didn't inform me either. I called them back and they said they would have to come the next day. Never pitched again. I phoned again and was promised they'd come by today but they still haven't. What rights do I have as a consumer? Where do I turn to for help? I needed fibre for work. I am paying for a 5G modem (which works) and fibre (which is non existent) at the moment. ALMOST R2000 for Internet. I am disgusted with this whole situation.
