Unauthorised Transactions On Card
<p>I placed an order yesterday and was debited correctly. <br /><br />Today I was debited for two additional transactions. <br /><br />These are unauthorised and I consider this theft. </p> <p> </p> <p>There has been no commitment by RS Components to reverse these transactions. <br /><br />If this is no rectified immediately I will be reporting RS Components to my bank for ********** activities. </p>

I have just received part of my order.
I ordered 8 x AA batteries and 8 x AAA batteries.
I have received 4 x AA batteries only.
At no point during the checkout process was it indicated that any of the following would be part of the order process:
1. That there would be additional charges without my permission.
2. That there would be a delay in the delivery of the items in my order.
3. That there would be a a different delivery time/seperate deliveries for the items in my order.
4. That RS Components would store my bank card details.
It is companies like RS Components that employ poor online shopping practices that create poor and unsafe beliefs in online shopping in consumer's minds.
Totally unacceptable.

As a further warning to other customers, here is what has transpired as a result.
Being suspiscious of the ********** transactinos which RS Components placed on my card today (2016.11.02), I have cancelled the card I've used with them and have had to issue formal debit order disputes with my bank.
Both of these cost me time and money.

Please indicate when the refunds for the amounts charged today will be actioned?
The initial charge was for R540.91. This accounts for all items ordered.
The subsequent, incorrect charges were for R109.30 and R300.45. Where do these value come from? They do not add up to the total of R540.91.
