confusing to say the least

<p>Have been doing research as to where i should buy a raspberry pi 3. Many people on forums said that i should go with RS components.</p> <p> </p> <p>But i must say after having dealt with them for a week to just get info i do not really want to do business with them.</p> <p> </p> <p>I haven't bought anything from them. and i am glad that i was not hasty.</p> <p> </p> <p>When on there online website and putting a raspberry pi 3 model b in your cart, and choosing delivery to your door it says 4-6 working days, When you choose to buy the items online and picking it up from there office in midrand it says that the item is immediately available for pickup and and you should wait 2 hours and then pick up the item if you cannot pick it up in 2 hours you should tell them when you will pick it up.</p> <p> </p> <p>This morning i checked if there was stock on there website and it said 1 board is available for pickup now.</p> <p> </p> <p>Drove to there midrand office, and te salesperson tells me that they do not keep stock.</p> <p> </p> <p>Here is a transcript from my conversation which you can choose when you are done chatting with them.</p> <p> </p> <p>Joe: i want to order 3 items online the 1 item is a raspberry pi 3 model b, the online website says available in 4-6 working days. if i order online these 3 items and choose collection at the your midrand office, would i be notified if the item has arrived at your office<br />Sherley: once you have placed the order online Kobus, you will be advised online of the live stock availability of each item.<br />Joe: I am looking at it now but it says "1 in stock for collection, but it also says available in 4-6 days which is confusing<br />Sherley: this would be 1 in stock for collection and 4-6 working days if chose to have the goods delivered.<br />Joe: oh i see, so if i do the online purchase now i can come and collect it tomorrow morning?<br />Sherley: that's correct yes Kobus</p> <p> </p> <p>I have changed the names in the transcript.</p> <p> </p> <p>1 person says 4-6 working days, 1 says 2 days and another person tells you that you can coe and collect same day.</p> <p>It is rather confusing dealing with them and between there wbesite and them there is no 2 alike that says the same thing, there is always another story.</p>
