Removal of Item

My VW Polo was taken to Ross Champion Umhlanga about 15 month ago for a repair which cost the Insurance company 64k. A few weeks ago I took the vehicle back as the bonnet had to be resprayed as the paint developed bumps and fine holes. Vehicle took 5 days to complete the bonnet respray. On collection of the vehicle, I asked about my iPhone charging. Shaun the workshop manager assisted me and the cable was brought to me after 5 minutes. Later that evening I noticed that the umbrella which was in the boot was missing. I tried calling Shaun, no answer. I waited and called Shaun back more than ten times, no answer. I even sent a what’s app message to Shaun, no reply. I called the receptionist Giselle and she told me that she will speak to the person that deals with the removal of belongings. My car went in for work which was done sub standard and property, no matter how insignificant to Ross Champion was removed from the vehicle. Maybe someone else needed the umbrella more than me. Lesson, make sure you remove everything from your car or else it may be needed elsewhere.
