POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

My vehicle went to Ross Champion Panelbeaters for repairs. The vehicle in question took 1 year to be repaired by this so called insurance approved panel shop. Numerous parts were ****** from this vehicle. Due to poor workmanship the vehicle needed to be repolished. When I informed the panel shop off this I was told that they would only be able to book my vehicle in a months time to be repolished.

A meeting was held with Ross Champion's Regional Manager, Sherina Vinden who has a lack of respect for customers, poor communication skills and a terrible attitude. Although we produced a list of spares that had to be repurchased together with invoices from the dealership, Regional Manager Sherina Vinden disputed that the parts were missing and didn't accept any liability for the missing parts.

I had to pay R37000 for labour plus repurchase parts totaling R17000 from the dealership for which Ross Champion were liable for.

Good day,
Please keep a copy of the attached for the vehicle we collected today.
Kindly note that the release certificate could not be signed an accepted as you requested due to the following reasons.
The vehicle had not being washed and made ready for delivery.
You were aware that we had a meeting today and that the vehicle was to be made ready for pick up.
You were aware that meetings were previously cancelled for many reasons whatever they may have being.
There are markings on the car that were not addressed even though your team were made aware.
You are aware that parts were removed that hold high values and your staff attempted to replace some of these to resolve the situation, unfortunately we had procured the replacement which we issue an invoice that you rejected to take accountability.
There have been several instances where your company removed valuable parts from our vehicles which left us in a situation to replace without compensation.
Your manager is aware that after meeting with her we conducted business to her satisfaction and in return we did not receive the same respect and integrity from the Ross Championship Group due to individuals that are favoured by some whilst other individuals are branded for doing the wrong things. This is actually something that is worrying as if it had not been for those individuals and their reputation in the industry you would not have been enriched by us.
You required us to sign certificate which that’s we are a satisfied customer whilst under the full knowledge of all of the above and more.
Please help us understand is this the normal you consider?
We can prove that in every instance where a request, instruction and encouragement we followed the procedures and processes of your organisation.
Kindly note this will not be a case of your leadership not being questioned.
“Without Prejudice“
Regards,
Marvin
