Improper quotation policy
Car needed to be repaired via a Third Party claim which was clearly stipulated with the Assessor. A quote was issued for the repair on the 22 January 2015. This quote was then processed and approved by the Third Party Insurer and more than a month later, 24 February 2015, the assessor advises that the quote needs to change by R2000 as he overlooked the extent of the work. He made mention that he needed to stand by his quote however, his Workshop Manager Nizaam refused to uphold their price. Poor service for an institution who has recently been established in the area and who is trying to build a reputation. This organization will not be recommended for future business.

24 Feb 2015, 15:04Hello snaidu1,
Good afternoon Sir. Firstly do take note the repair work was not refused. I requested for the work value to be relooked at only because your vehicle is red in colour and the allocation was incorrect. We have an established name with all major insurance companies and there are service level agreements pertaining to all work undertaken. This is extended to repair rates and warranties. In this instance, we did not ask you personally to pay the difference as I did say I will follow up with the insurer to recover the difference.
The manager has a responsibility to ensure all work carried out are of the highest standards and therefore ensures that all repairs are allocated correctly.
Our sole purpose of this exercise is to ensure that your vehicle is repaired at the highest standard and within specifications.
