Student unfair treatment and dismissals/harassment

I have been meditating upon the experience I have received from the IIE Rosebank College, the Pietermaritzburg Campus, the staff there seems to have a condescending approach towards students or its anarchy because we are left vulnerable because of the pandemic at hand as students or it is just fascism.

I was forced to agree to the fact that I have failed to submit my exam via the electronic platform, I provided supporting screenshots that I submitted via the well known system we have always used "Safe Assign". Fortunately, I liaised with my Lecturer that 'I cannot find this external submission link on my end, so I will use the traditional system...' This was fine. The lecturer only responded on Safe Assign after the Semester was done for every student (December) without giving any way forward, bare in mind that late submissions used to be accepted and marked during the semester, now when the system has failed on my end, I am told I submitted on the wrong folder and as a matter of fact I will write a Supp which will cost me R350.00 to write.

As a database designer, Safe Assign should have Assignment folder, Test, and Exam but on our end it just shows Assignment, hence the lecturers were also themselves discombobulated; This was a really unfair treatment, as I repeatedly explained that the system on my side was showing otherwise and I have made the option known by my Instructor that I will submit on Safe Assign so that the actual "Submission date" does not pass.

The Operations department failed to back me off and sent me to the Program Coordinator who took these final decisions, and in a manner lobbying me into the conversation to actually agree that I am the wrong one holistically let alone everything. 2021 may be worse or better, but to avoid us being harassed this way as students is not business, not even a chance to write an appeal upon the matter but autosuggestion was brought upon my conscious that I must not miss the Supp that is coming up. The system has been faulty since this pandemic, other colleagues have their reviews, I felt I should voice it out somewhere.
