ROSEBANK COLLEGE IS A NO GO ZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience was so bad I want to give you guys a 0 ,but I can’t so I’ll give you a 1. My parents paid a pre-registration fee of R3500 as an international student and a deposit fee of R300 to hold my spot. Then because of the timing and the difficulty to get my visa on time, we decided that it would put me at a disadvantage because the classes would have already started. So we decided to cancel the process and re-apply towards the end of the year. Unfortunately, at this point we had already paid for my medical aid as required to get my visa. So for me to cancel my medical aid, I need a letter of cancellation from the institution that states that my plans to study have changed.

So firstly, I wrote an email to the advisor that was helping me. He didn’t respond. Then on the 9th of February I wrote an email to the official email address. Someone responded on the 11th only to tell me that my email had been forwarded to another person. Since then I have not heard any news. I even tried to phone the attached number and after exactly 5 seconds it goes through to the automated answering machine.

My mom then went to the campus and asked for the letter which she was not provided with. She was given a useless piece of paper to fill in and there was no response. For the registration fee, the receptionist made it seem that it will be refundable. My mother kept going, sometimes she would be told to wait and other times she was told that the lady that is dealing with her case was not going to be coming to work that day. She was also told that her email is being forwarded to a different person that would deal with her case. She even met the principal and he asked her to call him if nothing happened at the end of the day. Promised phone calls that never took place. Lastly she was eventually told that the money was non-refundable. It has been nearly a month and no one has helped us. All they want is money and when you are seeking the help that you are rightly entitled to for your hard earned money, they disappear.
