registration refund

I registered my son Austin T Billings at your college and cancelled the following day. So now i hear that the registration fee is non refundable. The thing is that you guys do not know how i got the money and now i am indebted to a 3rd party for donating money to your college. I feel its very cruel and i am seeking help from the consumer council to get my money back. We never got a student number as well the cancellation was done within 24 hours of paying the registration there was no services rendered at all but they took the money.
