Nightmare of Duplicated Modules: A Frustrating Battle with Rosebank College Finance

In 2023, I diligently paid my daughter's fees in full and on time. However, when she checked her account later, she was surprised to see an outstanding balance indicated. Initially, the finance department stated it was R8000, but then a rude call from a staff member claimed it was R11,000, despite my daughter's insistence that she had settled everything. It turns out that there were duplicated modules in her account, a mistake completely out of her control.

After several visits to the finance department, it was revealed that there were discrepancies in her account, including duplicated modules that didn't actually exist. This back-and-forth led to confusion and frustration, with the amount owed fluctuating wildly. Despite providing proof of payment, the situation remained unresolved, causing immense stress, especially as my daughter's graduation approached.

Despite multiple attempts to rectify the issue, including applying for a refund, the situation persists, with the finance department now claiming she owes R8807, preventing her from receiving her certificate. It's been a challenging year, and the lack of resolution is deeply frustrating.
