MISLEADING APPLICATION PROCESS

I am utterly disgusted by how Rosebank College (and hence Advtech) conduct their business affairs. Despite having NOT RENDERED ME ANY SERVICE, the institution is demanding I pay them R14,840.00. At the beginning of this year (sometime in January) my brother APP**** (BUT DID NOT REGISTER, to our understanding) to study at the institution and I was to be responsible for his fees. However we never proceeded further than just paying the non-refundable application fee and we were told his application would be completed after we make another payment of a couple of thousand rands but my brother subsequently went elsewhere to study and we never received any correspondence from Rosebank College about his application nor did we send them any, as in our view, he was not a registered student until we pay a registration/initiation fee (which we never paid) to secure him a spot at the institution. Couple of MANY MONTHS down the line we received a call demanding payment of the entire year's (2015's) tuition fees! Mind you, the institution never sent us any communication following the day we went to apply stating what his student number was and etc.<br> <br> Regards<br> Very Angry Consumer
