Frustrating Delays and Unclear Communication at IIE Rosebank College

The IIE Rosebank College staff have truly shown a level of pettiness that is difficult to understand. By the time I reached my final semester after three years of study, it took an entire three weeks for my final module result to be released. I reached out for clarity and understood that it could be due to internal or external moderation.

Since then, my results from all previous years have been hidden on the student portal, including results for a one-year course I had fully paid for. I could not grasp the pettiness behind this, especially after I had simply asked to see my results. All I wanted was to know where I stood academically — whether I passed or failed.

There is an option on the portal to view results under "documentation," which I at least requested but it was eventually released after dealing with so much back and forth trying to make them understand what I required. The reasoning I was given: I was sent school fees statement with no further clarification. However, I could not help but wonder: was the outstanding amount the sole cause of the delay, or was it a miscommunication about institutional policies, which I acknowledge and respect in this regard.

Despite owing a small amount, they refused to release my results, as if I had already graduated and was running off with my qualification. It felt completely unnecessary, considering they already have all my personal information on file.

I know it might seem like I am venting, but it is hard to ignore how unfair and frustrating this entire process was. I will settle the outstanding balance this month and request my transcript (NO HELP NEEDED!), but I really want to say this: the way they handle communication, and the release of results needs a serious overhaul. If my balance was a concern, there could have been clearer communication from the start. I should not have had to jump through so many hoops just to get clarity on my own academic standing.

It is not about being rude or confrontational, it is about expecting basic professionalism and respect. This whole experience just felt completely unnecessary and like an attempt to control students over small issues that could easily be resolved.
