Extremely Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience

I came to Rocoamas WESTGATE MALL specifically for the bottomless mimosas, and unfortunately what should have been an enjoyable experience turned into one of the most unnecessarily uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve had. The bottomless mimosa offering was not explained properly from the outset. There was no clear communication about a time limit or any conditions that would result in the service being stopped. Had those terms been explained upfront, I could have made an informed decision about whether the experience was worth purchasing. Instead, after I had already finished my meal, paid the bill and left a tip, the bottomless mimosas were suddenly stopped. To make matters worse, I was told that I “can’t sit there drinking all day.” Excuse me? If Rocomamas has a time limit or policy surrounding its bottomless mimosas, communicate it before taking the customer's money, not afterwards. Customers shouldn't have to discover the rules halfway through the experience. The comment about me sitting there “drinking all day” was particularly unnecessary and condescending. There are professional ways to manage a table and communicate a restaurant policy. Making a paying customer feel like they're overstaying their welcome is not one of them. What bothered me most was the misrepresentation of the offering and the way the situation was handled. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I expected to receive what was advertised and to be spoken to respectfully when the restaurant decided to end the service. I left feeling less like a valued customer and more like an inconvenience that had overstayed its welcome. If there are rules, state them clearly. If there is a time limit, advertise it. And if you need a customer to leave a table, there are considerably more respectful ways to communicate that.

Roccoamas needs to do better, because the problem wasn't simply that the mimosas stopped. It was the lack of transparency and the disrespectful way it was handled. The attitude at the end completely overshadowed what could have been a good experience.
