Rockets not paying staff!

We went to Rockets Bryanston the other day and the service was exceptional but when it came to paying the bill the waiter asked us to give him his tip in cash and when we asked why he said that was the only way he could take his tips home and buy food for his kids as their credit card tips get held back until the owner decides he wants to pay them which may be anything from weeks up to a month. "Some of us are still waiting for tips from December that we were not paid". When we asked the waiter what the owner says when they ask him about their money, he told us the most outrageous thing, "The last guy who asked about his money got fired, even the managers are scared to lose their jobs as even they don't get paid on time". We did not raise the issue with management in protection of the waiter’s job but I will personally not be supporting a brand that abuses its staff like that and this injustice needs to be dealt with.
