Do not buy at Rockets-Sandton

Thursday the 26th of April I bought a Salad at Rockets in Sandton. I didn't even finish the food, I started vomiting. At this time it was at 1pm. The salad was my first solid meal on that day as I ate an apple and a Banana in the morning.

The vomiting kept on going till I didn't have anything to throw up. Started feeling weak. Thank goodness I was at the office because if I was at home, I could have died because I stay alone. At 6pm I was rushed to the Morning Side MediClinic and the Dr said it was Food poisoning.

The following day I report the matter at Rockets and A guy called Sean got back to me. He said they will investigate.

I contacted him again on the 1st of May after he has been running around. Firstly he offered me a R500 voucher to buy at Rockets (After I had to pay a lot of money to be hospitalised, now he's offering me a voucher that does not even amount to the money I paid.) After repeating my story Sean eventually said, it's highly impossible that the food poisoning was caused buy their food. "Our food is freshly cut and it comes on the day. I have checked everything and it seems like you're the only person that got sick on that day so it can't be our food"

Clearly he is taking this matter lightly. Had it not been fir the company driver, had I not have the money to go to hospital at that time, I could have died. Now Sean wants to brush me off with R500 food voucher from his shop. What a black person know, let's me just brush him off with a meal voucher and this will go away.

Sean and his buddy know nothing about customer service. With Listeriosis and other diseases around, who know what could have happened? I'm never buying from Rockets again. They only care about your money, if you get sick from their food they don't give a ****!
