Arrogant "manager/owner/chef"

<p>On the 29th of March I went to the restaurant in Parkhurst with my colleagues for lunch, the atmosphere is decent and we ordered our drinks and then we ordered our lunch. I ordered a burger with chips together with 3 other colleagues sitting close to me. The portion size was generous but the patty tasted of nothing realy, there was no seasoning whatsoever and two of my colleages who ordered the same meal felt the same way. We constantly had to add salt and pepper or tomatoe sauce so we could add a bit of flavour. I informed the waiter that I wasnt happy with the food and he said he would inform the chef. Noone came to our table to ask us what the problem was I had to follow up on my previous complaint by approaching the waiter by the bar area and he told me that he informed the chef he is just as surprised why they haven't spoken to me, he called the chef or manager whom I informed about my dissatisfaction with the food. Instead of this man to be apologetic he was straight out defensive he said that is how they make their burgers, people come as far as capetown for their renowned burgers . I have never met anyone so arrogant in my life and with no regard for a customer at all.I am glad he has people from capetown coming eat his burger because I will not be one of them. Horrible burger to go with rude staff is a bad combination for a restaurant.</p>
