Fibre Broadband installation

I selected Rocketnet on the basis of cost. Other ISPs are more expensive on a monthly basis, although Rocketnet do have a R500 installation charge. I called them up once the Vumatel line was up and running - this was the Tuesday afternoon - and in a combination of phone calls and online chat, arranged to have the router delivered on the Thursday.

The router duly arrived, and after a couple of calls and online chats I was up and running with no major issues apart from a couple of small administrative details. This was last week and thus far the service is very good. I only have the basic 4/1 package and I am consistently getting slightly better than 4 mbps on download. Its certainly adequate for my needs.

So far so good, Rocketnet !
