Empty Promises, Contradictory Information and Unprofessional Service from Robson Savage
I submitted my provident fund withdrawal claim earlier this month, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating.
Takunda confirmed that there were **no outstanding documents** required from my side. He then assured me that I would receive payment **last Wednesday**, but that did not happen. When I followed up, I was promised again that the payment would be made **this Thursday**. Once again, the promised date passed with no payment and no explanation.
Today, I called again hoping to get some clarity. Instead, I spoke to a consultant named Wendy, who threatened to end the call while I was simply asking for an update on my own money. No client should be treated this way for seeking information about funds that belong to them.
What confuses me the most is that I am now being told the turnaround time is **4–6 weeks**. If that is the company's policy, why was I repeatedly promised payment on specific dates? Making promises that you know cannot be honoured only raises clients' expectations and causes unnecessary frustration and anxiety. I would have preferred an honest explanation from the beginning rather than being given dates that were never going to be met.
I have also emailed Tom requesting a clear update and a specific payment date, but I have not received any response.
At this stage, I am left wondering why I have to keep chasing updates and why I am being treated this way over money that belongs to me. All I am asking for is honesty, transparency, professional customer service, and realistic communication.
I hope someone from Robson Savage takes ownership of this matter, investigates my claim, explains the delays, and provides a realistic timeline instead of making promises that are not kept.
