WORST SERVICE! DON'T FALL FOR THEM!

I app**** for my vehicle license through road protect as I thought it would be most convenient to have an application done online. One of their representatives said that I have outstanding fines which I need to pay. So I made payment and It has been more than a month which I still have not received my license disc. I will never use their service again and will not recommend anyone to use it. Rather save your money and go stand in the line at the post office. They charged me 250.00 rand delivery fee but did not deliver my license disc.

Dear Ilene,

We have received your complaint and completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately we are not able to renew your license at this time due to the regulations put in place for lock-down.

Kindly note that the reason for the license not being renewed is due to outstanding traffic fines. I believe this was settled but due to lock down the reprint could not be processed.  Furthermore, kindly note that a service fee charged was R199.00 and including the renewal fee of R432.00 comes to an total of R631.00 which was paid.

Once the departments reopen and non-essential services may proceed, we will reopen the service for license renewals. For the time being, our remote team is working to assist with any queries, online traffic payments and other claim preparations.

I trust you understand that we too have to comply with the lock down implementations and we will do everything possible to assist you with the license after the lock-down period.

Best regards
Nadia Nienaber
