Road Protect Pothole protect misinformation

When the pothole Tyre protection was sold to me, i was told that if i experienced a mandatory tyre change due to a pothole, then i can claim to Road Protect for reimbur*****t. During a trip from PE to JHB, i hit a few potholes between Cradock and gariep dam which resulted in me having to replace my front tyre. When i claimed, i contacted Road Protect telephonicaly. They advised that someone would call me to get the details of the claim. Someone called me a week later to get all the details and then advised that they need the exact details in order for them to submit their claim to the Road Agency. Should the Road Agency decline the claim, then my claim would be declined. furthermore, they couldnt give me a timeline for my reimbur*****t. The reimbur*****t date would be dependent on the Road Agency. So it could be a month....it could be 3 months......it could be never!!!! To top it all they require photo's of the pothole( the pothole was on a national road.....and what if it occurred at night).

Good day Ernest I did follow up and Lindeni said she did explain the terms and conditions to you with regards to the claim that we going to submit to the road authorities on your behalf and we will need some pictures of the damaged tyres or of the pothole for proof to submit it for you.

As soon as we have all the information, we will make work of this asap.  IF you need any more information, please feel free to email her directly.
