No service, very little feedback
I ordered a personalised license plate through the Wesbank website on 7 May 2023. Today is 25 May and I am still waiting for my license plate. Road Protect is the service provider for Wesbank’s personalised license plate service. Considering I’m paying over R5000 for this service, of which a little over R3000 is what they pay the Eastern Cape transport department, the least I could expect is efficient service. I have had to follow up multiple times and still I have no idea when it will arrive.

26 May 2023, 13:44Dear Mr Buchman We sincerely apologize for the delay and inconvenience that has been caused with the Personalized Plate As per the feedback provided by Elandi this morning we are waiting for the courier to deliver the Certificate of Ownership for the number plate and then just waiting for the allocation and licensing to be done as this unfortunately is not done by the same department and needs to be done in the area that you stay in We have requested urgent feedback this and will confirm as soon as this has been done and can assure you we are trying to get this as quickly as possible Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need any further assistance.
