A day after signing up with Netstar tracker i received a call from "Road Protect". Was told that it was a courtesy call on behalf of Netstar, leading me to believe that i was speaking to a Netstar representative. He goes on about a number of benefits that the product offers. At this point, knowing that it is a courtesy call from Netstar, i am under the impression that these are all added benfits from Netstar. A month later i receive a debit of R95 from "Road protect". During the "courtesy" call there was no mention of this being an add on product from a third party at a cost of R95. Did not even receive an SMS or some sort of confirmation of the additional service that i was signed up for, which i would have cancelled immediately upon discovery from some sort of confirmation. Contacted them. Cancelled the service. They refuse to refund my R95.
