Ambush Marketing!

I received a call on 27 September 2018 at 13:33 from Road Protect by someone who was pretending to be from from Wesbank.

She asked me to confirm my details to "update my profile with Wesbank" and laid out the benefits that I was supposedly entitled to. Now I am unwittingly subscribed to their service. I agree with one of the other reviews that stated that this is ambush marketing!

Wesbank why is our personal information being shared with 3rd party companies?

Unfortunately, I was misinformed last year when I was told that my account would not be debited. Today I was browsing through my FNB app when I noticed that I have been debited by R95 for November 2018, December 2018 as well as January 2019. This is completely unacceptable and unauthorised. I am currently looking into leaving Wesbank and joining a new vehicle finance company.
