They harass people

These people have been on my case for months trying to force me to agree payment terms on an old ABSA debt<br> <br> All i have done for months is ask for a statement of account for 3 years so i can see a lawyer and seek advice before i just allow them to bully me to agree payment terms. Once they get you to agree they have you. I have not once received what i ask for and now they say i must pay to get that or call ABSA to get that. <br> <br> I am aware by law if debt is older than 3 years it is prescribed, i am sure they know this as well. Then i get sms's saying discount if i settle sooner, 30% and more. I receive an sms and a letter in the mail saying an amount of R250 and even send me a booklet of discount vouchers rewarding me. PROBLEM is i never paid a sent. When i ask for proof of who paid it they cannot tell me.<br> <br> When i ask the call centre person to speak to the manager or supervisor they are never available. They ask for my ID but when i ask for theirs they refuse to give it. <br> <br> Then when i refuse to agree anything until i get the statement they send an sms threatening if i dont pay today they will send a sheriff of the court. This is plain bullying and abuse by these DALY ATTORNEY people
