Paid up letter

I have been paying my account with them, and I have settled it. They are refusing me with a paid up later or a statement to show that I have settled my account. I heard that this is one of the tricks that are used by these type of businesses to keep your account active and claim that you still owe them after some time. I am very frustrated, I cannot update my ITC record because I have no proof to show that I have paid up my debt. When I called they first told me to wait for 21 days and they will update my ITC records, more than four weeks later they are changing the story now and telling me about 8weeks. I cannot begin to express how disappointed and ****med I feel by the very same system that was claiming to assist me.
