My truworths account was handed over to them, so on the 29th of April 2025 I contacted them and spoke to Karshmi on WhatsApp to get the outstanding balance. She/he told me the outstanding balance is R1111,77, but I do qualify for a settlement discount of 20% , which is R889,42 if I pay before the 30th of April 2025. So I made the immediate payment of R1040 on the 29th of April 2025 and sent them the proof of payment. I requested the settlement letter, they told me that the payment will only reflect after 7 working days on their side. OK right I waited, until I contact them again yesterday, now they are telling me that I have an outstanding balance of R191,37. If I ask why because I paid my outstanding balance and i even paid beyond that, they are now not responding to me. And if I check on my credit report there's no change.
