Bad service

My standard bank personal account was handed over to Daly Attorneys I settled the loan and Daly attorneys sent me the paid up letter. I received a statement from the bank saying I still owe the bank R1700 I contacted Daily attorneys who confirmed that the account was closed however they do not have a record of the letter that was sent to me.
