Incorrect Upgrades by Rewardsco Vodacom
I was contacted in July 2025 by a Rewardsco agent, acting on behalf of Vodacom, offering me an upgrade on both my home internet and mobile phone data plans. The agent assured me that these upgrades would be better than my existing plans in terms of cost and convenience. This was misleading.
For my home internet, the upgrade removed the extended data allocation I used to receive after reaching fair usage limits—something I never agreed to. For my mobile plan, the upgrade increased my data but removed the 500 monthly voice minutes I previously received, which I also never consented to.
When I called Rewardsco on 04 September 2025 to dispute this, I was told investigations would be logged and that I would receive SMS reference numbers. I never received them until I followed up today, 11 September 2025. The investigation into my home internet was concluded with the claim that my dispute is “invalid,” while the investigation into my mobile plan is still ongoing.
This level of service is unacceptable and deeply disappointing. The so-called “upgrade” has proven to be a cost burden with no added convenience whatsoever.
@Vodacom, I demand that my contracts be reverted to their original state prior to these upgrades.
