DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY - they are **** artists

I am actually appalled by the sales agent that has basically ****med me! He called on 6th July saying he was calling on behalf of MTN. I normally avoid telesales people at all costs but he started by saying he could give me a new phone for R29 a month. My helper needed a new phone. The deal sounded too good to be true, I kept saying to him, what is the catch!? He REPEATED 'Only R29 extra a month.' I deliberately use a cheap phone and only have data contracts to keep my monthly costs down. He assured me it was only R29 extra and I would have a new phone. he also stated that the "once-off" connection fee would be R113. He also stated that REPEATEDLY. I noticed a R384 'once off' on the first statement as well as the R113 he referred to but didn't follow up. Received the 2nd statement this weekend and see the R113 is still there next to the name of the phone I received. I am now paying R130 extra AND my data is less on this new contract. Even though he also assured me several times that my actual package would remain unchanged. (R113 plus vat = R130). I am so disgusted by these **** artists. I went to MTN and they told me they can't help me because it was through Rewards co. They gave me the details to contact them directly I have called Rewards co and logged a complaint for them to investigate. The agent said R113 ONCE OFF. HE NEVER SAID IT WAS ADDED ON TO THE TOTAL MAKING MY AVERAGE BILL over R500 instead of my average bill of R370 He never mentioned R384 once off He also never stated that ANY of this was excluding vat The call was recorded - I want to hear that call because I know I have a valid claim. I will not let this rest. I am also so ashamed, irritated and angry that I fell for this nonsense!
