Warranty claim

I am writing to formally dispute the decision regarding my recent warranty claim. While I acknowledge your response, I must respectfully challenge the conclusions presented, as they do not accurately reflect the condition of the device or the circumstances under which it was returned.

Your message stated the following:

The device was received with physical damage. The device was allegedly not adequately packaged, specifically lacking bubble wrap. Based on this, the warranty was declared void, and the decision was marked as final. I would like to address these points clearly:

1. The device was not physically damaged when sent to you

Prior to shipping, the device was in the same condition as originally reported under my warranty claim and checked by the courier. If any damage occurred during transit, this would fall under courier handling, not customer negligence.

2. The claim that the device was “not secured with bubble wrap” is incorrect

The device was properly packaged, securely placed, and protected to avoid movement during transit. If the device arrived damaged, it raises concerns about the shipping process, not my compliance.

3. Warranty cannot be voided based on unproven assumptions

A blanket statement that “any physical damage voids warranty” cannot apply when the alleged damage occurred after the device left my possession. Without photographic evidence from the moment of receipt, the finding is inconclusive.

4. Your decision being declared “final” without discussion is unacceptable

I am requesting following:

A formal reassessment of the warranty claim based on the original defect reported. Confirmation that the courier involvement has been considered, as damage-in-transit disputes should not invalidate the manufacturer's warranty automatically. I trust Revibe aims to uphold fair consumer practices and customer satisfaction. I ask that you review this matter again and work with me toward a reasonable resolution rather than closing the matter without proper basis.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Hello Grant,

The reply you shared above was sent after we had already given you more than a week to proceed with the required payment for the repair or return shipping fees, as outlined in our policy.

Following the inspection, it was confirmed that the device had been dropped and the back glass was broken. This is considered physical damage and misuse, which voids the warranty. In such cases, any repair costs and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer, as clearly stated in our terms and conditions.

Since the required payment was not received within the allocated timeframe despite multiple reminders, the device was disposed of according to our storage and abandonment policy.

We are not sure what the intention is behind sharing our response as a review, as it clearly demonstrates that we acted in accordance with our policies and communicated the situation transparently.

We stand by this decision and encourage you to review the terms and conditions that have been publicly available on our website for years.

Best regards,
Revibe | Customer Experience Team
