On 22 July 2026 I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S21 Phantom Black 256GB rated as ‘Excellent’ condition. I also purchased the 2 year Revibe Care + warranty along with the device. On 27 July 2026 I received the S21 and was happy to see that the condition was actually pretty good considering it is a 2nd hand device, however when I switched it on, I noticed it was a 128GB and not the 256GB that I ordered. I raised this concern with Revibe and they were happy to log a return after I was requested to submit a print screen of the internal memory showing it was 128GB and not 256GB. The next feedback I received from Revibe on 3 Aug 2026 indicated that the device was under QC inspection. I then heard nothing from Revibe for 10 days and when followed up on 13 Aug the status immediately changed to ‘Invalid Claim Confirmed’. When I requested a reason for this they said that the device was severely damaged which at the time I though was an honest mistake on their behalf since I have never heard of any incident involving parcel damage from DHL and I repacked the devise even more secure than it was received. Revibe then requested me to submit a detailed video of me opening device which is ridiculous because I never claimed that I received a damaged device. I then proceeded to follow up again and today (17 Aug) after which I received a video of a gentleman displaying a Samsung S22 (Completely different phone) that looked like it got thrown off the Eiffel tower. The device in the video was already set up with a custom yellow theme and phone clearly shows the date as 17 May (exactly 3 months ago). Revibe did not even put in a little effort to try and make. When I reverse searched the video using Gemini AI I came across another video showing what appears to be the exact same damaged device with its custom yellow theme and font handled by what looks like the same person. I have also made print screens to submit with my dispute report and evidence. Also, Revibe never made any mention of the Revibe Care + Warranty that should have been app**** have the phone in their video actually been the phone I sent back. South African Small Courts have urged me to first log the dispute with my bank who is currently now reviewing the information and evidence. If not resolved a formal letter of Demand can and will be issued. When I started looking at online reviews for Revibe I was shocked by the amount of similar complaints so I want to urge anyone who has had similar experiences with Revibe to contact me on the email linked to my HelloP account *** Provide me with details of your dispute, the outcome of the dispute and the amount of money you lost. We are preparing to go public with a consumer warning video so your case can add a lot of weight to our cause.
