Misleading Advertising, No Accountability – Avoid Revibe at All Costs
I’m extremely disappointed with the way Revibe conducts its business. From the moment I placed my order, I experienced delays, a complete lack of transparency, and ultimately, false and misleading advertising about the product and shipping timelines.
What’s worse is that when I raised valid concerns and clearly requested a cancellation (before receiving anything), I was met with generic, scripted responses and a total lack of accountability from the company. Every reply was carefully worded to deflect responsibility, offering apologies while doing absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.
Let me be clear — I never received the product and have made it clear I no longer want it, yet Revibe is refusing to cancel and refund me, citing their return policy and framing the situation as a “change of mind.” This is false. My decision to cancel is a direct result of Revibe’s failure to deliver on their own promises.
To the support agents — this is not about you personally. The blame lies squarely on Revibe’s ********* business practices and refusal to take responsibility.
I have now demanded a full refund of R3399.00 and expect a manager to address this. Until then, I will continue sharing my experience so others are warned.
Avoid Revibe at all costs. If this is how they treat customers, it says everything about the company.
I’m writing this updated review after my experience with Revibe, and I want to make it clear: do not trust this company. From the moment I placed my order, I’ve encountered nothing but delays, false advertising, and an utter lack of transparency regarding product and shipping timelines.
In a shocking turn of events, I received an email from Mohammed Mousa, the Customer Experience Manager, who offered me a partial refund of R750 — but only if I agreed to remove my review on Hello Peter. Let me state this unequivocally: this is a bribe. Revibe is openly trying to manipulate customers by offering financial compensation in exchange for silencing legitimate complaints.
To add insult to injury, the product I never wanted arrived today. Upon inspecting the laptop, I found even more significant issues. The laptop they sent has a 250GB hard drive, but inexplicably, Windows was installed on the wrong partition. As a result, the C Drive has only 112MB of available space, which is completely unacceptable. This makes the laptop unusable, as I cannot install essential software or system updates.
Let’s be clear: Revibe’s business practices are *********. They refuse to honor their promises and push customers to bear the brunt of their mistakes. Not only have they failed to provide a functional product, but now they expect me, the consumer, to pay out of my own pocket for the cost of returning the product internationally for inspection. This is an outrageous demand, especially when they’ve already failed to fulfill their service.
Given their blatant refusal to resolve the situation or take responsibility, I will be lodging a formal complaint with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud. I will be submitting a 20+ email thread, complete with all correspondence, and include detailed pictures of the subpar, unusable product they sent me. The documentation will clearly show that I repeatedly requested a cancellation and a refund, which they consistently ignored.
