Appalling customer service and quality control

I purchased a laptop on the 13th of December, the device was then delivered on the 15th of December prior to delivery it was communicated that the device is under going a rigorous quality assurance analysis prior to delivery, however the device was received with a charger that is not compatible for South African usage, I then contacted Revibe call centre and was told to raise a claim through a very tedious process via their website. I opted to just purchase another charger at my own cost so the device could be used. After charging the device it was then found that the device does not boot up and has a software issue. I then raised a claim on the 19th of December and the laptop was collected on the 21st of December, it has now been 10 days since the laptop has been collected and the call centre cannot give me a time frame when I could receive my refund, according to Revibe tracking the device is still 'in transit', however the courier company has confirmed that the device was delivered to Revibe 4 days ago....Revibe your so called quality control is non existent and your customer service call centre is absolutely in capable of resolving any disputes....please refund me so I can purchase a another device from a more reputable outlet!

Hello Lemuel ,

We are sorry for the frustration this experience has caused and we appreciate you taking the time to outline your concerns.

We would like to clarify that we do have a defined and transparent process for claims and refunds.

Once a device is collected under an approved claim, the assessment and refund process can take up to 13 business days, as agreed in our policy.

At this point, today is the 11th day since collection, which means your case is still within the communicated and agreed timeline.

We confirmed with you on the phone before that we have received the device and the team is working on assessing the issues reported.

This assessment step is essential to ensure an accurate and fair outcome for all parties involved.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating, especially when you are expecting a refund, but we kindly ask for your patience while we complete the necessary checks.
Rushing this stage could result in incorrect resolutions, which we actively aim to avoid.

Please rest assured that your case is being handled according to schedule and in line with our standard procedures.Best regards,
Revibe | Customer Experience Team
