Restonic Warranty Experience Disappointing

I purchased a Restonic bed in 2023. Less than two years later, the springs started coming out of the mattress and physically poking me, making the bed unsafe and unusable. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, not wear and tear.

I logged a complaint and Restonic approved it under warranty, acknowledging that it is a factory fault. However, I was then informed that I must pay 50% of the value of the bed to receive a replacement.

This was never clearly stated at the time of purchase, and nowhere was it made obvious that even when a defect is confirmed and approved under warranty, the customer would still be required to pay half the cost of a new bed.

In my view, a warranty should protect the customer from manufacturing defects — not shift the financial burden back onto them after the fault has been admitted. Being asked to pay for a replacement when the product failed due to a factory issue is extremely disappointing and misleading.

I expected better from a brand with Restonic’s reputation. Buyers should be aware that even if your claim is approved, you may still be required to pay a substantial amount for a replacement.
