Restonic - Sagging Mattress after 1 year of use

We purchased the Detroit mattress with base from The Mattress Company in July 2024. After just one year of use, the mattress has started sagging significantly — it feels like you're sleeping in a hole, which is far from comfortable.

We lodged a warranty claim, supported with photos clearly showing the sagging. However, the claim was rejected due to a minor stain on the mattress. We were told that if we had the stain professionally cleaned, we would need to provide an invoice, details of the cleaning company, and confirmation of the exact cleaning process used. Even then, the claim could still be rejected if the method didn’t meet their strict criteria.

The core issue here is the structural integrity of the mattress, not a cosmetic flaw. For a brand like Restonic, which promotes a 10-year guarantee and positions itself as a trusted household name, it's incredibly disappointing to face so much red tape when there’s a clear quality concern.

After just one year, this mattress feels like it’s 15 years old. We invested in the Detroit set expecting long-term comfort and quality — instead, we’re left with regret and discomfort.

Very disappointed and certainly not a happy customer.
