\Quality"for the price the Customer Pay"""
Me and my wife bought a Restonic bed plus base threw Dial a Bed Somerset Cape Town. The new bed broke and was replaced . 8 months after the new replaced bed , the bed started to make a lot of noise . Me and my wife figured out the noise is coming from the base . I decided to open the base myself.
YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT WE FOUND. THE MIDDLE TWO PLANKS WERE LOOSE.
THE WOOD THAT WAS USED IS WORSE THEN THIN PALLET WOOD , I WOOD SAY IT IS A GRADE 3 TYPE WOOD. UN-USED STAPLES . THE WHOLE FRAME IS BUILT OUT OF THIS PALLET WOOD. PUT TOGETHER BY NAILS. HIT IN SKEW , STICKING OUT ON THE SIDES. NOT ONE ***** USED.
THE PRICE THAT WE PAYED FOR THE BED AND BASE DO NOT MAKE SENSE.

THE WOOD USED FOR THE FRAME IS NOT MORE THEN R200 WORTH THE NAILS R30 THE POLYPROP AT THE BOTTOM R50 TOPS ( I know because I make polyprop bags) THE CARTON TO COVER ALL THIS R10 THE NICE BROWN SUEDE MATERIAL TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE R100 THE FEET R200. TIME TO PUT THAT **** FRAME TOGETHER R500
THIS WILL COME TO R1090 BASE ONLY.
I WAS ASTONISHED AT HOW BAD THE QUALITY IS.
WORK FAST TO MAKE MONEY AND FOOL CUSTOMERS.

PLEASE EVERYONE BUYING RESTONIC BEDS BE AWARE OF THE MATERIAL BEING USED.
AND SOLD AS QUALITY
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. If there was a factory default on our base, and it was brought to our attention, Restonic would have no problem in replacing your base.
I do however disagree with your comments on Restonic manufacturing inferior quality bases.
The construction of the Restonic Base is one of the strongest in the market. Restonic use high quality Kiln Dry Timber and use more raw materials in the construction than the industry standard. The next time you are in a store, please lift one of the Restonic bases and then lift an opposition base and you will feel the difference. Our base is heavier than the average base in the market. We use glue, nails, staples and more timber than the industry standard. There is no major bedding manufacturer in SA that use *****s in the construction of a base. You are more than welcome to phone Restonic's head office *** and arrange a factory tour and we can do a rag tear down in front of you of our base and other bases on the market. Restonic take pride in quality.
I also cannot comment on the Retailer's Selling Price, this unfortunately is out of our control.
Kind Regards,
The Restonic Team
