Horrible experience

# Russells and Restonic: Faulty Bed, Poor After-Sales Service and Unacceptable Lack of Communication

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the treatment I have received from both Russells and Restonic regarding a faulty bed purchased from Russells in April 2026.

After only a few months of use, the bed began making excessive squeaking noises. Concerned about the quality and durability of the product, I contacted Russells to report the problem and request an exchange.

Russells responded by requesting proof of purchase and my delivery address, which I provided as requested. However, despite cooperating with the company's requirements, I have received no meaningful feedback regarding the resolution of my complaint. I have been left waiting without a clear explanation, an indication of the next steps, or confirmation of when my issue will be addressed.

In an attempt to get the matter resolved, I also contacted a Restonic agent and provided videos demonstrating the problem with the bed. I expected the matter to be taken seriously and investigated by the manufacturer or its representative. Instead, the agent has failed to respond to me for approximately two weeks.

I find this behaviour particularly disappointing. I took the time to record and submit videos to demonstrate the defect, yet I have been met with silence. It is unacceptable to ignore a customer who is actively trying to provide evidence and cooperate in resolving a product complaint.

What makes this experience even more frustrating is that neither party has provided me with a satisfactory resolution. Russells has failed to communicate meaningfully after requesting my documentation, while the Restonic agent has failed to respond after receiving the videos. As a customer, I should not have to chase both the retailer and the manufacturer's representative simply to have a potential product defect investigated.

I purchased this bed in good faith, expecting a product of satisfactory quality and durability. Instead, I have been left with a bed that makes excessive noise during use, an unresolved complaint, and an extremely disappointing after-sales experience.

Both companies should understand that customer service does not end once a sale has been completed. When a customer reports a potential defect, the appropriate response is to investigate the issue, communicate clearly and work towards a reasonable resolution. Ignoring correspondence is not an acceptable way to handle a complaint.

I am raising this matter publicly because my attempts to resolve it through the appropriate channels
