Extremely disappointed with Restonic and Sleepmaster Protea Glen.

I purchased a Restonic bed from Sleepmaster Protea Glen in May 2024, expecting a quality bed that would last for years. Unfortunately, by January 2025, less than a year after purchasing it, the bed had already developed serious problems, with wires/springs popping out and making it extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. I continued using it because this was my first time purchasing a bed and I honestly did not know that I could report the problem. Eventually the condition became so bad that I started experiencing severe back pain and had to attend physiotherapy. By April 2026, I could no longer use the bed at all. What is even more disappointing is that after finally contacting the store to report the problem, I was told that I would have to pay 70% of the price. How is it reasonable for a customer to pay thousands of rands towards a replacement for a bed that became defective within such a short period? I mean I purchased this bed in good faith, expecting a durable product. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the bed and the proposed solution. A bed should not become unusable after less than two years. I really hope Restonic and Sleepmaster will reconsider how they are handling this matter and take responsibility for a product that has clearly not met reasonable expectations of quality and durability.

I would not recommend purchasing a Restonic bed based on my experience.
