Terrible communication, still waiting for our dishwasher to be fixed properly
Terrible communication, still waiting for our dishwasher to be fixed properly We used the Cape Town branch of Repair Center to fix our dishwasher. Less than a month after the repair, it started leaking again. I contacted them over the weekend to report the problem. They said they would send someone to collect it on Monday. Nobody arrived, and nobody contacted me. I messaged again on Monday afternoon to ask what was happening — no reply. I heard nothing on Tuesday either. I messaged again on Wednesday. Still no response. On Friday I messaged once more, and this time they said someone would come that day. Again, nobody arrived, and again, no response when I followed up. This has been going on for over a week now with no repair, no collection, and almost no communication from their side. If you can't keep an appointment, at least have the courtesy to tell your customer. I would not recommend this company. Poor workmanship (the same fault came back within weeks) combined with poor communication makes this a frustrating experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. https://repaircenter.co.za/

Siemans Dishwasher ****
Mc Repairs & Repair Center is the same company. They display an impressive vehicle with signage on but there is no number plate. They share an impressive website but there Business addresses do not exist as i was forced to go look for my Siemans dishwasher. After eating humble pie & pleading with them to return it unrepaired still cost me R1K but the cash money offer was the only way that I could get it back.

Unprofessional Service and Communication
I booked my coffee machine in for repairs on 8 April 2026. The technician collected the machine, and after receiving the quotation, I accepted it based on the understanding that the repairs would take approximately 7–10 working days. Once that timeframe passed, I received no updates and had to follow up multiple times myself, often with no response at all. Eventually, I was told they were waiting for parts, but this was only communicated after I had repeatedly requested feedback. A simple update from the beginning would have avoided a lot of frustration. On 4 May 2026, due to the lack of communication and delays, I requested that the parts order be cancelled and that my coffee machine be returned to me. Only then was I informed that the parts had apparently arrived. Another week passed with no communication, and once again I had to continuously phone and follow up myself. I was told on 11 May that my machine would be returned, but I only received it back today, 14 May 2026. To make matters worse, the machine was returned extremely dirty and scratched. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to poor communication, delays, and the condition in which my machine was returned. I would not recommend using this company.

Bosch dishwasher repair
Calvin arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, replaced the pump on the dishwasher and helped fix the latch that had never worked properly. He sent his tech back a few days later when another pump error recurred. He figured out it was left over water in the pan triggering the float switch. Once the pan was dried out, it has all worked perfectly. I would certainly use them again.

He sent his tech back a few days later when another pump error recurred. He figured out it was left over water in the pan triggering the float switch. Once the pan was dried out, it has all worked perfectly. I would certainly use them again.
